Strathclyde Youth is a network of youth projects across the
Strathclyde area.
We are dedicated to providing quality information, training,
support and advice to projects. This will enable them to offer
excellent, effective and safe youth provisions in their area.
We visit projects on a regular basis to ensure you are getting the necessary support. We work with all youth projects whether it’s a youth café with 10 members or a purpose - built project with 500 members. We aim to make youth work less daunting and more enjoyable.
Strathclyde Youth covers the boundary of the Old Strathclyde region, which comprises the following council areas:

As well as fully supporting affiliated projects we also provide:
Workshops.
We offer a range of workshops that are aimed at today’s
young people. They provide a wide range of activities, both fun and
educational, which young people can participant in within their
youth project.
Training
As well as the workshops, we offer a diverse range of
training opportunities for youth workers and volunteers.
Again, this is dictated by our youth workers and volunteers to make
sure we offer training that is relevant and appropriate to
today’s modern youth worker.
Insurance
Through Youth Scotland, Strathclyde Youth can offer
affiliated youth projects a cheap, comprehensive insurance package
that covers Employer’s Public and Products Liability
Insurance, Member to Member cover and Personal Accident Insurance.
Events
Strathclyde Youth hosts events that enable the network to
come together and share experiences and ideas, and to showcase
their talents. From fashion shows to multi- sports we will have
something that appeals to you.
Awards of Merit
Strathclyde Youth holds an annual event that celebrates the
achievements of young people and youth projects across the network.
This event coincides with Strathclyde Youth’s AGM, usually
