Four on a couch

The players all switch names by writing the names on a piece of paper and placing them into a hat and drawing a new name.

The group sits in a circle with one couch in it.

There is also one chair that is empty.

As the game begins, the player to the left of the empty chair calls out a name in an attempt to get a person of the same gender on the couch or some one of the opposite gender off of the couch.

When a name is called, the person who has that name on their piece of paper goes to the empty chair and switches papers with the person that called the name.

Thus, a new space is empty and the person to the left calls a name.

The game continues until there are four players of the same gender on the couch.
