'In pairs' Games

Steal the Bacon

The players find a partner and stand on opposite side of the room.

A large and awkward object is placed in the centre.

Each set of pairs is given a number.

The leader calls out a number and the two children who have that number run and attempt to wrestle the object to a line close to where they began.

The one to make the object cross the line wins.

The object may be carried or pushed across.

Face To Face

Each child in the group finds a partner and stands on opposite walls.

The leader then calls out a call, which the children must run and complete.

The first to do it wins.

The calls should be things such as "Foot to Foot" or other simple tasks.
